What you will be doing:
Oversees the creation, implementation, and planning of enterprise architecture to support company plans and changes. Should have a thorough awareness of the company’s many business divisions.
- Supports the creation and use of enterprise architecture and IT strategy work items, such as standards, standards, and guidelines. helps with architecture governance, including reviewing and evaluating solution architectures for compatibility with the enterprise architecture and IT strategy. supports the search for, assessment of, and selection of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and platforms to optimize the enterprise IT portfolio.
- Application portfolio management, operations, and technology planning are just a few of the business sectors and/or enterprise architecture functions that are served by the EA services and support that is offered.
- Assists in the design and implementation of enterprise architectures.
- Develops and maintains knowledge about the insurance or financial industry.
- Ensures that the enterprise architecture meets organizational requirements.
- Strategy Development involves developing and executing domain-specific IT strategy for an organization.
- Provide overall architectural strategy to align with business needs.
- Evaluate projects for architecture effect of the company’s annual planning, resource estimation, and alignment with technology strategy and overall enterprise architecture.
- Provide enterprise architecture expertise in architecture governance forum discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s technical degree with a Master’s being a plus.
- Has at least ten years of working with IT with enterprise-level business facing projects.
- Must have experience with multiple domains and their architecture or similar solutions architecture that are on an enterprise level.
- TOGAF framework experience a huge plus.
- Strategy development, architecture and practice development experience will be key.
- Experience with architecture governance to represent the EA with reviews and governance forums.
- Provide expertise to solutions architects and ensure alignment with strategy etc.
- Offer knowledge with respect to business strategy to identify new capabilities and technology-related opportunities.
- Strong ability to motivate and influence other stakeholders involved to meet objectives.
- Ability to work with product owners to create architecture strategies.
- In support of annual planning, resource estimation, and alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture, evaluate projects for their effects on the architecture.
- Report on enterprise architecture progress, problems, and opportunities on a regular basis.
- Ability to review RFIs and RFPs for evaluation.
